I'm sure everyone has realized it too but it looks like youtube links are not embedding correctly anymore

yes the new look on youtube has seem to disallow all embedding, I blame Viacom and all their doucheyness.

at least I'm guessing that's why they changed their policy.

yeah I don't like the new youtube, and it seems its at fault here. :( I guess they want you to post links and actually visit the page.

I like the new youtube. So much cleaner and easier to use. I'm big on graphics, layouts, etc. I like the new direction for the site.

As do I, it was easy enuf to learn too. I just don't like that embedding isn't allowed anymore, but I can also see why with their sponsors that give them $$ to run the site.

ya the embedding issue is pretty significant but whatever, youtube is providing us with a free service that they should be allowed to modify whenever they want whether we like it or not.

Is it that embedding is not allowed anymore or just things have changed so it doesn't work yet?

There are still adds the pop up under the video when it is embedded.

Did google say "We are stopping embedding".

cause embedding is awesome and definitely increases the view ability and increases traffic to the main page

Actually they still have the html embed code that you can snag for anyvideo.

Just the vB plug in or whatever doesn't work anymore with the new youtube format.

I think this is the case. I haven't seen anywhere where anyone said embedding is disallowed. I just know the code youtube generates for embedding a video is broken right now.
