darklight brought to my attention today a guide to disable mouse smoothing, something that is enabled by default. Holy balls....it got rid of that mouse input lag I was experiencing. Now I can run the game on all High, 4x AA, 16x AS, HBAO off. Only sacrificing 8xAA and HBAO...I can live with that, it reacts MUCH better now.

I thought I posted this somewhere already???? hmmm
guess I just never hit submit or something...weird
anywho, I've been using this for a couple weeks now.
the numbers it uses will vary depending on the DPI of your mouse.
so tweaking it just right will be necessary.
also, if you don't do it just right, you won't be able to rotate your UAV or roll with a choppa ;)

just step through it line by line in the guide. it's pretty straight forward once you see what it's doing.

do you want to increase it or lower it?
it's something that is being suggested to DICE to add support for in the game. lots of people want it. I like what it's set to now as default.

A little tool was released today to do some of this automatically. It says its easy to change the sensitivities and makes the Russians speak in English with an accent so you can understand them. Give it a shot.

This works wonderful. For the record I set my base sens according to what felt normal at the main screen. I couldn't leave my infantry sens at 1 or use any of the recommendations.
I have a 3200 dpi mouse and my final settings were : base-0.5, Inf-0.03, cam-0.8, turret-0.8, air-0.25
I do use a joystick and the air sens only seemed to affect the UAV which I don't use the joystick with.

My Documents\BFBC2\input.
Have you tried using the automated app that does the work for you? It will make a backup of your files just in case anything goes wrong.

I think you have to change at least 1 key bind in the options then your custom input folder shows up in my documents.
