ATI performance increase?

Multiple users claim to experience a increase in FPS with the install of a profile released by ATI via Rage3D. Take it for what it's worth. Supposedly works with single card setups as well. Gonna give it a try now.

Tried it with AvP and it did not drop under 14 fps with everything maxed at 1680*1050..

My normal clocked 5770 runs it fine and even the ingame movies (when not rendered by the engine) are now worse then the game :D

Current settings:
1680*1050
Tess on
Adv. Shadows on
AA 4x (game has no 8x lol)
AF 16x
the rest maxed.

With AA down a notch to 2x and AF to 8x the fps never drops lower then a 30... playing alien has never been so awesome!
