I don't understand this, recently my mouse has taken to messing up randomly. A few days ago when playing tf2 it just started freezing up to a point where it was unplayable, I replaced the batteries and still it did it. I fixed the problem by moving the wireless sensor so its like right next to the mouse.
But today my computer wouldn't wake up by moving the mouse, so once I woke it with my keyboard I found that my mouse wouldnt work at all. Replaced the batteries thinking there was something wrong with them and it still wouldnt move, restarted the computer and it was fine.
I have no idea if its the mouse itself of some sort of wierd windows bug.

Ditto with Stew....
You could trying removing the hardware in device manager and rebooting. and seeing what happens.. Wireless mice suck I hate when people insist on using it here where I work.. batteries go dead the mouse starts losing connection and you have to push the buttons to re sync them.

I've had this mouse working for 2 or 3 years, never had any problems till now, never had to resync it and the batteries actually last an extremly long time.
I cant use wired anymore, they pisss me off after a while, it would be like sitting in a swiviling chair that cant swivel all the way around.

Might have fixed it.
In device manager under mice there was HID complient mouse, but under human interface devices there was microsoft wireless mouse driver. So I removed the second one and it removed both, and when i unplugged and replugged the mouse back in only the first one came back. Maybe my computer thought I had two mice for some reason.

Ok then I would actually try to go download the correct drivers for your mouse.

yea we had one guy who didn't have any problems with his for 3-4 years heck for 2 years he didn't even change the batteries....
Thats my usuall check: Resync, batteries still problems remove drivers the fact you had 2 probably was the problem. Then after that I just replace them if they still have problems.. But money doesn't come out of my pocket lol..
