Hello Ex Members
I have spent some time with a lot of you in the Ex pub server/on ventrillo, and I was wondering if I could join the ranks of Ex. I really like the vibe from you guys, its great to see a serious clan out there that can also have fun (heavy boxing / 4 am antics on the pub server). I think at least some you like me, or at least have tolerated me and haven't kicked me out of the server/vent :)
Some background on myself, as I know some of you know but maybe some of the other Ex members don't know, I have been playing Team Fortress based games for about 4 or 5 years spread out between Quake Team Fortress, Half Life Team Fortress, Quake 3 Fortress, and about a month and a half of TF2. I know there isn't a lot of TF2 experience there, but it was just a matter of learning some of the changes they have made over the years to Team Fortress and then the rest is familiar territory.
Anyway, I have a lot of experience playing competitively as well. I have played in 1 STA gold clan and 1 silver clan back in Quake TF days , and 3 different STA gold clans in Half Life TF days, as well as another gold clan in Quake 3 TF, so I have an understanding for the importance of preparation, strategy, and communication and how crucial those things are to a clan when they play competitively. I'm not trying to say all this to brag, just to say that I have experience. Lastly, I have also ringered once or twice for clans such as Djedi back in the day and have faced the higher caliber of player/tactics from teams they would face in matches as well.
So I guess that about does it. I just want to close by saying if you are looking for a cooperative, communicative, experienced, dedicated, and fun player to join your ranks then please consider me for Ex membership.
