haven't heard anything for like a year and a half and if you Google all I get are year and a half old links

Probably cause people who used it realized that it won't increase your FOV. Another wards you can't see any more then a person with a smaller screen. The picture is just bigger or I guess I should say wider. Although maybe with HL at fov 120 or higher that screen might b good but heck in source games fov is limited to 90 I think...
