can't believe they made the dead ringer de-cloak QUIETER! wtf. the damn thing was already OP in the right hands, now even poopy players can use it because it will be harder to hear the them de-cloak....
deff turning on "hear a sound whenever you hit an enemy"...useful!

can't believe they haven't fixed the SR yet. I want to give it an honest shot soo bad, but I can't with that instant explosion problem

I am thinking that fixed shotgun spread will be nice.. If I am reading that right.
There was a post on the forums about it where he tested it with the scout's scatter gun. Ends up not doing much what-so-ever, with a few tests ending up the exact same, and one instance where the average was lower than with spread.
As for the dead ringer change?

Thanks Brains.. That sucks there isn't that any difference really but I probably will use it since I hate randomness in any game I play.

You cannot stop the dead ringer spys! I disguised as a Valve employee and put that change into the notes and then I got caught by one of their developers and he shot at me, but I used my new dead ringer. I decloaked, but since I sneaked in those changes, he couldn't hear me and I back stabbed him. It was a good day. :)

i've noticed an influx in DR spys. I've actually gone pyro a few times i've been so annoyed....and then I got backstabbed again

Psht, let's hear it for the revolver totin, DR using spies who did that shit back BEFORE it was cool. (I know cookies does it too, and I think infiniti does. Not sure who else.) In Da HOUSE! Also, I imagine I'm in the minority here, but playing pyro/heavy and just listening to the din of carnival dings brings me such utter chlidlike euphoria that I often giggle excessively when playing heavy (though I was already pretty close to doing that. He has the best lines.) also, it's a very helpful auditory cue that your sentry is in combat, if you're an engy, and its not getting shot and you're not near it. Granted, not a common situation, but not entirely unheard of.

Im used to the DR update now, its really not a huge nerf, it just stops you from surviving failstabs, because if your successful usually you get the ringer charged agian.

I think the only thing it really prevents is the asshattery that I know I pulled off on the first goldrush. You can run around that map infinitely just picking up the three 200 metal boxes in the first half of the map. Fallen weapons before only restored about half of the ringer before, and now they're down to 40%, if I recall correctly. Honestly, I think the quieter thing more than makes up for it.

I went 44 kills in KotH Viaduct without a single death before i left the server as a DR spy.
I recorded it though, yay! Unfortunately fraps = "LOL I C U HAV 7 GIGS OF HD SPACE LET ME USE THAT FOR 2 MIN VID LOLOLOL"

you were playing against djinn. your kill count is no longer valid. obviously djinn kept just running backwards into you all match long. thus also being the sole reason why djinn's team lost
