As promised here are specs and pics.
Intel Core i7 860 2.8Ghz
4GB DDR3-1333 G.Skill ECO 1.35v 7-7-7-21
Sapphire Radeon HD5770 1GB
Mini-ITX DFI MI P55-T36
60GB OCZ Apex SSD
320GB Western Digital Caviar Black 7200RPM 2.5"
Silverstone Sugo SG05-B
FSP Group 300w 80-Plus
External Asus SDR-08D1S-U (DVD-RW)
Samsung Touch of Color T240 24" LCD
LG 42" 16:9 2.4ms 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV 42LH55
Windows 7 Home Premium 64
I'm looking into getting a bigger PSU (350w seasonic 80plus) pending the watt usage results I get from my KillaWatt... haven't had time to measure it's power consumption but will. I'm also going to pick up a Scythe slim fan to put on the side near the cpu as either an exhaust or intake, haven't decided which yet, possibly intake. Pics of the process are posted, it socred a 16135 in 3dmark06 stock. I don't plan on OC'ing yet cause I'm using a 4-pin psu in an 8-pin mobo.. might get an adapter for it but not too necessary. I will, however, OC the 5770 pending the Killawatt measurements. It's a little gaming/development powerhouse, plays all my games at high or better settings at 1920x1200 and it's about 7-8 inches tall :D Fits right next to the monitor :)
More pix next post.

Now here's where I got smart: First picture is of the old setup so you could see how the HDD tray was setup (2 x 2.5" adapter) before and one just so you can see the beautiful hd 5770.
Next 2 pics show my cool zip-tie solution to save space and last one gives you an idea of how small the case is. The stuff plugged into the front is temporary until I get my other PC out of there.

what was the price break down of the system?
A LOT.
More specifically...
280 - Intel Core i7 860 2.8Ghz
110 - 4GB DDR3-1333 G.Skill ECO 1.35v 7-7-7-21 (RAM prices have super-inflated, I got 6gb ddr3-1600 for $90 earlier this year)
170 - Sapphire Radeon HD5770 1GB
140 - Mini-ITX DFI MI P55-T36
145 - 60GB OCZ Apex SSD (sale in May)
75 - 320GB Western Digital Caviar Black 7200RPM 2.5"
105 - Silverstone Sugo SG05-B
w/case - FSP Group 300w 80-Plus
58 - External Asus SDR-08D1S-U (DVD-RW) (best buy price match :D)
Including the OS there's close to $1200 worth of parts in there now... lol. But to be fair I have a SSD an a $300 cpu in there... :P (Also not included are PayPal cashback and a few combo discounts)
This baby runs on a 300w SFX power supply lol :D Doesn't even have an 8-pin power connector :P
I'm looking to sell my E8500/4GB DDR2-800/Zotac GF9300 (mini itx with wifi) that I replaced and that would be a good foundation for a much more affordable mini-ITX system.
Also want to sell the parts from my old powerhouse PC (Core i7 920/6GB DDR3-1600/Asus p6t deluxe v2/GTX 285 SLI/ETC) and I'll be posting my parts list soon...

Does price matching always work well at best buy? Who's price did they match?

Not ALWAYS, but they are much more desperate than before. I've gotten them to price match Newegg on a TV sound system / receiver and price match most of the price on a similar but not identical external DVD drive.
Bring in a printoff for a specific item you're looking for from an etailer (eg amazon, newegg, etc) and if it's the same item they may match it. Like I said they are much more desperate than before, they didn't recognize newegg for me until recently :D

Nice rig Yoshi, have you thought about a Blu-Ray ROM?

Don't need Blu-Ray, have PS3. This rig is changing A LOT now. Putting it in an Antec Mini P180 (which is NOT that small), installing the new Arctic Freezer 7 Pro revision, and putting in a SATA DVD-ROM. I'm going to whip out my old Corsair HX620w PSU for the job, and perform some mild overclocking and benching. Gosh I flip around PC parts a lot, just love doing it.

I take it you have a standard ATX tower of is the ITX your main rig.

Changed my mind, I'm going to keep the mini ITX config, I just need to mod it and junk. I WILL need to grab a 500gb hdd for applications though.

The WD 640 is a fast one.

The WD 640 is a fast one.
I love it in raid 0.
Yay threads being used! Doing a steam backup of my 200GB of installed games... and I didn't install about 1/3 of them yet :P Migration to 500GB will be nice.

I like Raid 0 as well but those 32GB raptor drives were so loud. I just went with a single WD640.

Raid 0 640s had reads competitive with my OCZ Apex :D Although they are still slower on latency and such. 500GB HDD and writing pad come today :D HSF and junk tomorrow.
