I am sick and tired of joining the losing team and getting stressed out of helping them who never listens or coordinates, I bet some of our admins are feeling the same way.

I know the balance can't be perfect every each game since we get variety of players joining the server and they all play differently. I really don't mind losing several rounds b/c it's the nature of the game when the team's skill is not up against the other team. However, there's a huge difference in losing but tried and losing without trying.

I do want to enjoy the game just like as you guys do but it becomes a huge burden when there's no one coordinating but only complaining. It sometimes blows me off when the winning team make a huge mockery about how bad our team is but there's nothing I can do about helping the team.

Our server has numerous number of terrific players who can switch up/off the flow when they join. That's why we need more advanced players who look around and cares about balancing.

I admit that I also ignored some of this balancing issues when I was enjoying the game too much. However, I hope you guys know that I am trying to keep the balance between the teams for both teams' fun.

I rarely rage quit out of the game unless it's seriously bad but I did several times recently since DJedi guys started to come.

May be I am not matured enough yet.

I'll probably keep trying to have the server balanced but plz forgive me when I say some harsh words b/c of my bad temper.

Sung.

I know the feeling, there have been a few times where not to many really good players are on, and I'm the top scorer on my team, and we just get steamrolled badly.

Or when I'm a sniper and I suddenly notice we have like 5 or 6 snipers, and I'm the only one on the scoreboard.

Sadly I don't think theres much anyone can do, even the autobalance will sometimes take the top scorer of a losing team and ship him off to the winning team.

Problem is I've noticed alot of people (most of which arent regulars), just try for personal scores and not really winning the match. Like alot of times no one is pushing the cart, or capturing the points.

All I can say is, i feel your pain :).

I hear you, Sometimes I switch but not too often. Main reason, I don't like switching, if I am winning or losing, I like staying on the same team, but I will try looking out more.

Maybe you can rally your troops with the new update :)

ya, what they said. i usually always try to fill the gap if some essential class is missing or underpowered. also, i'm drunk like hell and wont remember what i typed tomorrow. i don't mind losing a round if i feel my team was a slight disadvantage. what i DO hate however is, when the other team is like super-overpowered and pushing the cart on, say, badwater without ever interrupting the movement of it. in this case you can be any class you want - soldier, demo, sniper - you will never win on your own. it just sucks to see your team fail completely, but you have to keep in mind that there will be better times. just don't take this game too serious and laugh when you lose in a 4vs1 situation where they took ages to kill you.

Sung I give you props for team switching when things are unbalanced. You, Kap, Zero, Dues, myself and a few others do it often but we do need more people to do so.

It should be the responsibility of anyone wearing the EX tag to switch teams or classes to help balance the teams if need be not just the admins. On multiple occasions I have seen a number of EX tagged players stack teams which should never be the case. All EX players should be auto assigning at the beginning of matches unless they are switching to balance teams because auto assign can stack as well.

Willingness to balance the server and keep it fun for all who join should be a requirement to any new and current EX members.

i switch my self mannny times and sometimes i get to into bullshitting and not pay attention till ppl start complaining or i will do a scramble without a vote. i could care less if im on a winning team or not, its about fun for me tbh. and admins do have rights to switch any ex member without asking them if i recall correct.

I've recently stopped going to the {Rofl} servers entirely because of a few casuals on there that end up with me rage-quitting quite a few times.

It's easier in larger servers because you'll die less to the same person, but those dang servers have like, on average 6 vs 6s or so, and i HATE getting killed by the person over and over, and i HATE ending matches getting dominated. I'll GLADLY skip a 100% uber medic to backstab a nemisis if given the chance.

It's even more fustrating when you do 120 of the non-healed scouts health that's dominating you, just to have someone last-second-assist kill your target and you don't get credit.

Just know you're not alone.

Edit: Bleh, i guess it's slightly off topic now that i read it. Oh well, i typed it out already.

This is a normal result of having a 32+ player server. I find myself switching to the losing team a lot (to me the challenge of fighting the winning team is more fun than raping a losing team).

I've never felt that it has been bad enough to start manually switching people to other teams, but then again I don't live on the server to monitor it 24/7 either.

Sung, if unbalance gets excessively bad and it gets under your skin this much...start team switching people! You have the power to do that but always give them reason. If someone gets upset...let them get upset or send them to me. Maybe as admins we should start enforcing balanced teams more.

I am with you Stewlounse. I find it more enjoyable to be on losing team and face that hard challenge of winning. But right now, I am new and still learning the maps and soon more classes.. So doesn't really matter what team I am on, I am not much help either way.. But I am working on it.

There is nothing more enjoyable then being the team that suppose to lose very badly, but you pull through for a win.

I usually get switched to the winning team....... never figured that 1 out

Might be that I even out the K:D ratio between the teams:tongue:

But then again I only play for fun & not that much to get any good at it

well when someone gets switched during a round it's usually because the system detected an imbalance between the teams (usually too many ppl on one team) so the player it switches over is the next player to die on that "winning" team. other times, it's just an admin swapping ppl over to try and even things out.

but I agree. I love playing this game, but I only ever enjoy it when other (usually EX) players who know how to play the game right are also playing. whenever I go into the server and it's full with a bunch of no-ones, then I don't stay long or usually don't try to help out the team because no matter how much work I do, we lose since this is a 'team' game. and I usually play medic so I'm heavily dependant on others, and when there is no one worth ubering or latching on to, I can't have fun. this game would have been better leaving all these updates and stuff out, it's attracted alot of random players who never really intended to play this game right.

Those servers that switch you to the other team, WHILE YOU'RE STILL ALIVE, get old REAL quick.

Nothing beats an uber harder than auto-balance being awesome.
