I really wanted to pick it up on PC and use my 360 controller, but I still haven't opened forza 3... my backlog is way too crowded :(

...UNTIL.... the 5800 series...obliteration
I used the Logitech G27 Racing Wheel for Dirt 2 and it has failed me. :sad2:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104330&Tpk=logitech%20g27
With the G27, my rear wheels spin out constantly and I lose control...
the only solution i've found to prevent the wheels from spinning out is to drive uber slow or press on the brakes so much that I end up in last place...
note: (With the G27, in full HUD mode in-game, Steering is dependent on how you steer with the actual wheel. With the keyboard, pressing left will instantly move ur wheel as far left as possible and same for Right; just a note)
the keyboard ... (as much as i hate to say it since i paid $250 for this g27) is better for Dirt 2. I definitely noticed difference in speed and cornering ability with the keyboard.
the G27 is god-like for a game likeNeed For Speed: Shift but it has really failed me for Dirt 2...
Anyone having the same issue? tehg ame is fantastic but i want to use my wheel lol xD
I've solved the traction problem... You have to change to manual mode rather than automatic... in other words, you have to use the stick shift. If you go automatic and just use pedals and wheel, you'll spin out constantly :)

STi and your golden ;)
anything else and you're just asking to lose.
plus this game uses real physics, not simulated physics like in NFS:Shift and Forza 3. plus....you're on dirt :D
I haven't had issues so far with the traction, just have to learn the turns and prepare for them. can't just hold gas and turn and expect to win. and this game gives you too much money and rep for winning (even on casual). I own all the best cars for each category and I'm only like 30% done with the game. just unlocked the races w/ teammates!! I've already got my fill with this game, going to move onto something else. maybe when I get my gtx300 video card, I'll come back to check out the dx11 features!!!
