A couple people wanted to know how to use the server. Before going into a lobby go into console and type in sv_searchkey SiNEX

After that you may create a normal lobby with any type of game. Once you click start it will connect to my server (if it isn't in use)

If you want to use the searchkey at all time. You can go into launch option on steam and add +sv_searchkey SiNEX

just curious, where is your server located? most of the time l4d(1&2) give me crappy servers with over 200 ping =O

In VA, I have a 25/15 FIOS line.

This isn't a little server I run. I have dedicated DL385 servers. We just played VS with all 8 people all under 60 ping except one was 130 but that was his connection.

Sadly ICMPs are blocked so i can't check my latency until i actually get the game i guess. I know you dont want any DDoS attacks but still I was curious... This and the TF2 servers are not hosted at the same location are they?

The main TF2 server is hosted elsewhere. I run my own TF2 server but it normally is not used. If you message me on steam I can enable ICMP, but yes I have some nice firewalls between the servers and the interwebs.
