Well the theory from the poster of that video is kinda right..

They did try to compensate ping problems (and the additional hitbox lag) however his solution is useless due to the fact it will only work for 1 specific amount of ping..

Say.. I will only play on Ex from now on, my average ping is 120, resulting in a nice fix for that.. But on servers nearby I would have to shoot in front and if Cosmic gets to pick some Japanese one I'm gonna be off even more.

What they need to do is run this compensation localy that also CHANGES those settings on connection to any server (using the current values).. But hey, that would require like 4 seconds of thought and EA did the servers, so.. guess not.

I guess they never will change hitbox registration because it's like a trademark of theirs...their hitreg has always been this way, even way back in bf1942...guess I'll just have to get used to stabbing a guy 4 times in the back before even one of the registers...then have him just turn around and stab me once in the face... :(

Actually.. that should not happen if he's not moving.. thank god you can just switch to assault and 40'mm the sob to get revenge ;)

The problem right now is that the animation recognizes the hit but the server doesn't.. THAT needs to get fixed asap.

very unfortunate. knife appears broken since the latest update. it's a major issue on the bc2 forums.

ive noticed since the game came out the hitboxes were fucked up, but i just go with it. Most the time my hits dont register but i still do damage but i dunno

lol.. there's more than that actually. That's just the "unique" ones...
I'm shy of about 100-200 roughly because of the no reg problem. Still...it's just frustrating haha.
