Steam/BC2

So I bought BC2 retail. Is it possible to have steam display that I am in the game and track my hours?

I bought it retail too. You can add a shortcut to the game and change the name, but steam will display as "non steam game" and won't track the hours. BC2 will track your hours in game though.

I have found that my bc2 will crash much more often when I run it through steam. I am using the beta steam though.

the answer is no, but u can use Xfire for that, steam only records the time of games that you bought from them, otherwise id have 300 hours on borderlands

I am on the beta of steam as well and was hoping it was just because of that..
