I'll be honest, I still love pokemon lol. I think I may have to pick this up. First comes Soul Silver, however, considering the second generation was my favorite.

Last one I played was Platinum which was awesome.
I'm really looking forward to these new ones because they are trying to simplify the game again instead of just adding more and more junk to it. They needed to focus on the designs of their pokemon like how they used to look/play before and during Silver/Gold. There is also a 3rd evolution now, so maybe some pokemon can evolve even farther than before which would be awesome to see :D

that's what I'm thinking. either that or it's some kind of like super evolved form that the pokemon can only stay in for a certain amount of time.
I'm not sure, nothing has been said on this yet.

I've always chosen the water-type to start with and I usually keep him in my final lineup with Surf. useful.

the lizard looks badass...that f'in fire pig looks silly and the damn water <whatever> looks like a clown...still going with the water one just because they usually are the strongest at start and it will learn Surf which is a super move in my book and lets me get around easily without having to find some other lame water type that can learn it and take up a spot in my lineup.

I'm pretty sure it just keeps the game balanced. If they gave you a ghost type or something they would have to fill the game with Psychic types just to keep you from tearing it apart.

ya some of them look like they are REALLLLLY trying hard to come up with new pokemon lol....others just look like remakes of old pokemon :D

I can't wait....stupid japan gets the game like 5 months early :(
