Just curious if anyone knows how this is calculated? Mine is currently 0, but I'm above a 1 k/d ratio and a 1.2 w/l ratio.

have you captured a flag? set charges on an mcom station?
skill level in this game goes by objectives. so a person can NEVER kill anyone and have 200 skill level (which is the max). going around reviving teammates, supplying ammo, repairing vehicles, planting bombs, defusing, cap'ing points. all contribute to skill.

kill/death ratio does not. so if you have a skill level of 0, you either are a terrible teammate that doesn't do objectives or something is seriously wrong with your stat tracking on DICE's end.

That's awesome.

I am usually the one to complete the objectives.....I've set charges, captured and defended flags, etc.

well based on your stats - see attachment
you have 26 flag captures (this is when you are the 1st to stand on a flag and get the +80 point bonus) in 37 hours played ~ or 1.4 hrs of play per capture which is either 2 full length matches or several short matches of conquest. I'm not saying that you don't help on caping a point regularly, just that you usually aren't the 1st one to hop on the flag.

also 15 mcom stations destroyed (where you are the one who destroyed the mcom from either planting charges or just blowing it up with c4) in 37 hours played ~ 2.5 hours of gameplay per mcom destroyed.

and also account for the fact that you don't play solely rush or conquest, you mix it up so those numbers for caps per hour and mcom destructions per hour goes up even more.

you may just have a buggy skill rating from that site. try checking other ones. you get major points for completing objectives and VERY minor points for helping teammates (revives, repairs, ammo, etc) so if you really care about that skill rating, try just focusing on doing the objective and being the 1st to the flag always or planting on mcoms. also, killing players who are MANY levels above you goes toward skill. killing players who are lower than you in level does nothing for you. on the same token, dying to players who are worse than you lowers your skill rating alot. so if you do objectives alot, maybe you should try dying less to noobs and kill more higher level players (if there is even a way to actively seek that out lol)

but that skill rating doesn't really mean alot. no one really knows what the algorithm is for determining it (besides DICE), people just have been seeing what effects that number by trial and error.
